Cubby's is a wonderful summer stop for young families! As the founder of Family Time Capsules, I like to aggregate a list of local small businesses that are must stops for families looking to create family traditions and special memories. Cubby's has excellent customer service with friendly workers who answered my questions kindly. The environment is clean, and even includes outdoor seating with games like giant Jenga and giant Connect Four. The neon bear sign is a unique backdrop for selfies with your kids! My favorite part is the "Pay It Forward" wall where customers can donate ice cream to other patrons with particular circumstances. Among the dozens I saw were: single dads, kids diagnosed with cancer, teachers, EMT workers, and veterans. Cubby's is more than an ice cream shop. It's a community hub of encouragement and family-oriented fun. I will be sure to return whenever I am in Hershey. Oh!! And the ice cream flavors are so unique and taste DELICIOUS! 🍦

We returned to Cubby's Ice Cream tonight and were even more impressed than our first visit! The ice cream was delicious, and the custom sprinkle wall was a huge hit with all of my kids. All of them loved adding their own sprinkles. So cool! The outdoor experience on the front porch was wonderful too as they provide chalk and several activities/games which kept my kids entertained while they enjoyed their ice cream. The staff was friendly, helpful, and made our visit even better. Definitely recommend Cubby's for a fun family treat! 😊

Ice cream all year round?! Yes, please! Visited Cubby’s for a Sip & Script class and had a great experience! Delicious Becks Ice cream pints to take home in so many flavors. Also a hand dipped counter and a sprinkle wall! Seating inside and a great kids space! Found my new favorite ice cream spot this summer!

I’ve been here before and have had good experiences up until this recent visit. When I walked in, the two young staff members were both on their phones. I expected a hello or at least a smile to acknowledge me. I didn’t get either one. They looked at me like I inconvenienced them. I received my ice cream and left feeling awkward like I shouldn’t have bothered them. When I got home and started eating my ice cream, I found a hair in it… I love the ice cream here but I may not be returning for a while until the staff learn how to treat their customers better. It doesn’t look good for staff to be on their phones in front of customers either.

Very cool hometown boutique ice cream shop on the main floor of large two story vintage home. Nice selection of good quality ice creams, shakes, and cones. Couple of small seating area inside with a large porch for sitting outside. Definitely worth the stop if you are looking 👀 for a cool sweet treat!
